Hard Edge Agency's profile

eNett Website and Videos

Hard Edge worked closely with eNett to design a simplistic yet bold new website that provided a seamless user experience and showcased eNett as a forward thinking and innovative market leader. The use of three infographic style videos, also produced by Hard Edge and featured on the site’s homepage, took the viewer on a journey to learn more about eNett and their products.
Client Background
eNett International were established to tackle complicated travel payments head-on. Combining decades of payment expertise with in-depth industry knowledge, eNett design and develop innovative business-to-business payment solutions that make payments simple, efficient and rewarding.

The Process
To meet the brief, Hard Edge first developed an animated wireframe to map out the user journey. This provided eNett with an overview to navigate the website as if they were key customers. Once the wireframes had been approved, Hard Edge developed three design concepts that reflected eNett’s bold brand personality, while adhering to brand guidelines. eNett selected their design preference and Hard Edge rolled out the design across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms. Our digital partner, MarketingCube, was responsible for the build. Hard Edge partnered with local production company Jumbla to produce the videos and, together with the client, developed scripts and storyboards that provided the viewer with informative content while taking them on the journey using a simplistic and minimalist style.

Project Objective
eNett wanted to refresh their website so users experienced a seamless journey and to ensure its design encapsulated eNett’s brand personality and adhered to brand guidelines. The new website would play a key role in establishing eNett as an innovative and forward thinking leader in the travel payments market. Video content was developed to increase user engagement, providing a brief but comprehensive overview of the company and their products.

The Brief
eNett engaged Hard Edge to design a new website to reduce bounce rates and increase session times and user engagement while ensuring self-serving navigation and a seamless user experience. Three videos were produced in a fast-paced infographic style, taking the viewer through a logical journey with each demonstrating their part in an overarching story.

Creative Challenges
With five eNett customer personas to consider, it was difficult to develop a tailored user experience for each profile. Developing wireframes helped us identify roadblocks that could potentially disrupt the user journey. In effect, the wireframes helped reduce bounce rates in addition to increasing user engagement. We ensured the website was kept simple and created a persona hierarchy to prioritise the key features of a seamless user journey. Establishing the right degree of visuals to ensure they didn’t detract from the script proved challenging when developing the videos. Selecting clear and easily identifiable imagery allowed us to overcome this. Additionally, incorporating eNett’s ribbons, a prominent visual brand element, enabled us to take the viewer through a logical and seamless journey.

The Result
eNett were delighted with their new website and the videos. The parallax design was simplistic in nature and easy to navigate while the videos received a high number of complete viewings. The design ensured the company’s bold brand personality made a strong impact and the videos complemented this, with both elements integrating seamlessly. eNett’s new website is user friendly and modern, showcasing eNett as a forward thinking and innovative market leader.
